INSIDE: baby chic
Posted by Sal Taylor Kydd on 7/20/2009

As if there weren’t enough stores designed to lighten our purses with hot baby chic paraphanalia - here comes another one from the fabulous folks over at Weego Home. Weego Baby is also on Main St in Santa Monica, it is beyond cool. The website isn’t extensive, but if you are looking for THE IT stuff for your well-heeled new-born this is the place for you. They also have a registry and Stacy who works there has been beyond helpful to me in sourcing some gear for my wee ones.

SAL: magical kingdoms
Posted by Sal Taylor Kydd on 3/16/2009

Etsy continues to be a source of delight. I found these prints by Hidenseek whilst searching for some art for my kids’ rooms. Her work is both haunting, magical and sometimes a touch disturbing.  For those of you who enjoy reliving the fantasy and magic of your own childhood through your children’s books and fairy tales, this will be a wonderful discovery.

INSIDE: you say tomato…
Posted by Sal Taylor Kydd on 3/05/2009

Speaking of beanbags, I found these ones that I thought were rather fun for the kids’ rooms. I of course, have way to much going on to add yet another decorative element to my kids’ rooms. I’m in the process of thinking about what I can take away rather than add. But these tomato beanbags from Eazybean are a delight. Pears, eggplants, lemons and other culinary goodies from the fruit and vegetable kingdom are also available.

INSIDE: fatty

First - Sal that table is a good one. It would definitely work in your dining room. My only hesitation is it won’t extend at all. How many does it seat?

Now, to beanbags. I do love these Fatboy bean bags. I got the kids one each (a black for Jack and hot pink for Lulu) and the really like lounging on them. Don’t expect a soft sinky product. These bags are made from a nylon material that reminds me of sail cloth. Heavy duty, jumpable, easy to clean. Ticks all the boxes.I hadn’t seen these ones from DwellStudio. Nice!

INSIDE: jumping on the decal wagon
Posted by cerentha on 3/03/2009

OK so I know I am seriously late here. Blik has the coolest decals for kids’ rooms. I got Jack the paper planes and Lu a whole garden full of animals. Now I just need our furniture to arrive from Australia so I can figure out where we should put all those stickers.
