SAL: You can always look to Ikea to come up with an inexpensive take on a modern classic. The Docksta dining table is very simple and elegant with a nod to the space-obsessed aesthetic so popular in the 1950s. It’s a perfect breakfast table for a small kitchen corner and comes at an unbelievable price of $149! With such a saving you could then splash out for some Eames plywood dining chairs which would look great with this, or the Boxy chair on Room and Board would also look cool. But if you are watching that budget, Ikea’s Gilbert chairs below are a steal at $49.
