INSIDE: chilly art

HARRY: It’s warm in Los Angeles - lovely beach-worthy weather, so a photo of ice seems a bit odd. But I was digging around the New York Times website and found their photo archives. I came across this image of skaters in Central Park by Vincent Laforet, a Pulitzer prize winning photojournalist. You can buy an 11×14 for $195. And there are 1000s of others, including some great shots of iconic buildings. Most newspapers have made their picture archives available. I know the Sydney Morning Herald has some extraordianry shots of my photogenic hometown.
